Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor II to provide on-site energy assessments for small business tenants, building owners and utility customers. You will advise on modifications to electric and gas systems and support rebate program participation, delivering high-quality service and expert energy savings guidance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience demonstrating above-average performance as an Energy Auditor I or equivalent experience.
• Two years of previous related work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, community organizing, or a related field – Preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote the energy efficiency program through energy assessments.
• Work with owners/managers to advise and help participation in energy efficiency programs.
• Deliver professional, high-quality services to utility customers.
• Complete walk-through energy assessments to identify saving opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices including lighting, programmable thermostats, and hot water devices.
• Explain energy assessment findings and rebates to building owners.
• Maintain data and prepare reports on program performance.
• Lead and participate in on-site customer communications and follow-up.
• Travel to client sites and collaborate with engineers as needed.
