Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks an Energy Auditor I to provide on-site energy assessments for small businesses and utility customers, recommending efficiency upgrades and guiding clients through rebates. You will install energy-saving devices and collect data to support program outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, experience in building systems, and familiarity with energy efficiency programs. Travel and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, interviewing, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize workload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through scheduled assessments.
• Work with building owners and property managers to advise and help participate in energy programs.
• Deliver professional, high-quality services to utility customers.
• Complete on-site energy assessments of properties identifying gas and electric savings opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices including lighting, thermostats, and water-saving devices.
• Explain energy assessment findings and rebates to building owners.
• Enter data into spreadsheets/databases to track energy savings and manage projects.
• Lead presentations promoting energy efficiency programs for targeted groups.
• Perform direct installation of faucet aerators and LED lamps in client facilities.
