Job summary

ICF is seeking a Manager of Training and Instructional Design to lead HMIS training development and delivery for a large Continuum of Care. This senior role oversees a team of trainers and ensures compliance with HUD and CoC HMIS requirements, delivering in-person and virtual learning experiences.

The position focuses on capacity building, instructional design, and leveraging modern training methods to maintain high-quality content and continuous improvement across the HMIS end-user community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering training and capacity-building materials.
• Experience with HMIS or similar information technology platforms.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise a team of approximately five HMIS trainers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality HMIS training experiences for end users.
• Collaborate with program, policy, and technical teams to align trainings with CoC priorities and federal requirements.
• Implement tracking and reporting to ensure training compliance and address gaps.
• Maintain expert knowledge of HUD and CoC HMIS requirements related to data standards, privacy, and security.
