Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Policy, Planning, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with an HMIS software implementation.
• Strong understanding of HMIS report programming specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide HMIS subject matter expertise for technical assistance projects that support local efforts to prevent and end homelessness through strategic planning activities, system and program evaluation, data analysis, system modeling, research, and policy development.
• Interpret HUD policy and technical guidance and translate requirements into practical system configurations, data collection practices, and reporting workflows.
• Develops efficient and replicable approaches to developing reports, analytic work products, system administration activities, and other work tasks as assigned.
• Support the implementation of HMIS data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes using automated and manual approaches.
