Job summary

G R Infraprojects in the United States is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee highway construction quality assurance, focusing on earthwork, pavement, and concrete works. The role requires hands-on material testing of soil, aggregates, concrete, bitumen, and asphalt, with strong knowledge of MoRTH and IRC/IS codes, QAPs, and ITPs.

You will coordinate with engineers, clients, and third-party laboratories to ensure compliance, inspect sites, and close NCRs while maintaining comprehensive QA

Qualifications

• Regular BE/BTech or Diploma in Civil Engineering as required.
• Knowledge of MoRTH specifications, IRC/IS codes, QAPs, and ITPs.
• Experience in site inspections, laboratory testing, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality compliance across highway/expressway construction activities.
• Supervise material testing of soil, aggregates, concrete, bitumen, and asphalt.
• Ensure compliance with MoRTH specs, IRC/IS codes, QAPs, and ITPs.
• Review and maintain quality records, test and inspection reports.
• Coordinate with Independent Engineers, consultants, clients, and laboratories for inspections and approvals.
• Conduct site inspections, identify deviations, implement corrective actions and NCR closures.
• Ensure proper laboratory testing and equipment calibration per project quality standards.
