Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking a quality control professional to lead QC/QA activities on civil infrastructure projects. You will organize technicians, develop QA staff, and design mixes while ensuring compliance with owner specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role involves drafting QC plans, performing audits, and minimizing rework through process improvements. A Bachelor's degree is required; field experience and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control and QA processes for civil/infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project quality plans, specifications, and owner requirements.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Organizes technicians performing quality control tasks.
• Supports the development of quality technicians.
• Designs asphalt/concrete mixes.
• Writes project specific quality control plans, incorporating the ownerA's requirements and specifications.
• Assures Company complies with specifications by any State, Federal, or other contracting agency or owner.
• Aids project-wide system audits and surveillance, including supplier or subcontractor audits or surveillance to approved audit checklists and procedures.
• Responsible for the implementation of the QC/QA program and collaborating with personnel to minimize rework.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
