Job summary

CDR Maguire is seeking a Project Manager – Highways to lead transportation design and analysis in the Greater Boston area. You will manage highway projects, provide technical guidance, mentor staff, and develop client relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of transportation PM experience, 10+ years highway engineering, a PE licensed in Massachusetts, and MassDOT design experience. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transportation project management experience.
• 10+ years highway engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in the State of Massachusetts.
• Experience with MassDOT design manuals, procedures, specifications, standards, and design codes.
• Thorough knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA standards and local agency requirements.
• Experience with MassDOT/ MassDOT design procedures and plan presentation formats.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead Project Manager on major transportation projects.
• Develop client relationships and provide technical guidance.
• Mentor engineering staff and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams.
• Develop scope, schedule, and monitor project budgets.
• Perform highway analysis, design calculations, and plan production.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
