CDM Smith’s New England Transportation team seeks a Task Leader for highway design projects across the New England region. You will lead technical development, mentor junior staff, and deliver innovative solutions from concept through final design.

Positions available in Boston, MA, East Hartford, CT, or Manchester, NH with travel up to 10%. A PE license and 10 years of related experience are preferred to drive project success.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience. Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the technical advancement of highway design projects, communicating the vision for final deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of transportation planning and design projects, ensuring milestones and quality standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance for growth.
• Develop project design criteria, alignments, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Project Technical Leaders and Project Managers to deliver high-complexity projects.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; sign and seal as required.
• Perform site reviews and studies to align designs with location specs.
• Support proposals by reviewing drafts for adherence to standards.
