Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within six months.
• MassDOT experience required.
• Project and client management experience highly desired.
• Advanced proficiency with engineering software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and deliverables for state and municipal highway projects.
• Provide expert technical consultation and resolve complex, multidisciplinary engineering challenges across transportation infrastructure projects.
• Lead advanced technical initiatives in collaboration with engineering disciplines and PM teams to develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Develop and manage discipline-specific work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining budget, schedule, quality, and technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff, including reviews of designs, calculations, reports, and other deliverables.
• Lead the technical development of proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials, representing the organization before clients, public stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
