Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates highway maintenance equipment such as trucks, loaders, graders, snowplows, and other machinery.
• Performs preventative maintenance and assists with repairs; maintains yards.
• Patches roadways, repairs signs, bridges, culverts, and related structures.
• Responds to snow removal and emergency duties, including nights and weekends.
• Trains coworkers in maintenance tasks and safety procedures.
• May be placed on-call for emergencies and adverse weather conditions.
