Qualifications

• Highway Maintenance Worker: must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Highway Maintenance Worker/Senior: must be at least 18, valid driver’s license, and Class A/B CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate highway maintenance equipment such as trucks, rollers, loaders, tractors, graders, snowplows, and more.
• Operate specialized equipment for lay-down, rock cutting, snoopers, and milling tasks.
• Identify maintenance needs and assist with servicing, grounds, and building upkeep.
• Repair roads, signs, bridges, and related structures within safety guidelines.
• Move materials and hazardous substances while complying with weight limits and safety rules.
• Train co-workers on maintenance tasks and procedures as needed.
• Perform snow removal and emergency responses, including nights and weekends.
