Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering data, analyzing costs, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in estimating with strong math, IT skills, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI. You will manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers and work non-standard hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position – experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus.
• Strong financial and project management knowledge.
• Experience with data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Advanced math and IT ability with analytical mindset.
• Expert level in Excel, Power BI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model
• Understand project requirements and determine key cost variables
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators
• Perform data analysis for labor costs, materials, and production times
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting
• Review offers from subcontractors or vendors and prepare bid reports
• Submit estimates to project managers and leadership
• Build relationships with vendors and engineers
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews
