Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. seeks a Senior Highway Engineer to lead transportation design and project management from Orlando or Tampa, FL, with hybrid work options.

You will oversee highway and drainage design, traffic management, cost estimating, right-of-way planning, and design documentation for state and local clients. Applicants should have a BS in Civil Engineering, 11+ years in transportation engineering with Florida FDOT focus, and a valid Florida PE license.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, transportation planning or similar discipline.
• 11+ years of professional transportation engineering experience, with at least 8 years in the Florida market focusing on FDOT district projects, required.
• Current FL Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven success in the transportation agencies and/or state & local government market sectors.

Responsabilités

• Lead project management and senior engineering duties for state and local clients.
• Coordinate roadway design with drainage, utilities, structures, traffic, and environment.
• Oversee design from concept to final design and construction administration.
• Prepare and review models, drawings, and specifications for projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with VHB teams to deliver integrated projects.
