Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) is seeking a Transportation Highway Engineer to join our Florida Transportation Team in Orlando or Tampa.

You will design and deliver roadway projects, develop 3D corridor models, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to support public, private, and institutional clients across FDOT, local governments, and developers. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of roadway design experience for state DOTs, and a PE license is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional transportation engineering experience with a focus on roadway/highway design for state DOTs.
• PE license expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver roadway/highway projects from planning through final design and construction support.
• Develop roadway geometric designs including horizontal/vertical alignment, profiles, cross sections, superelevation, and corridor modeling.
• Prepare roadway plan sets per FDOT FDM and CADD standards.
