Job summary

Larson Design Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee highway design projects and client relationships in the Pennsylvania region. You will manage design teams, budgets, schedules, and compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, public speaking, and delivering high-quality proposals and plans for municipalities, PennDOT, and Turnpike projects. PE licensure is strongly preferred and professional growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of eight (8) years experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or other professional licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wins and manages larger PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike highway design projects.
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgement in independent evaluation and modification of standard techniques.
• Manages clients/highway projects for local municipalities, PennDOT, and PA Turnpike Commission.
• Prepares and reviews proposals, budgets, schedules, and potential issues.
• Prepares workload forecasting reports and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Mentions quality assurance and control processes to reduce design errors.
