DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids, gather data from sites and suppliers, and present options to leadership for decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills, advanced analytics, and the ability to manage relationships with internal teams and subcontractors.

Formación

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position – highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus.
• In depth knowledge of financial and project management principles
• In depth knowledge and experience of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
• Proven advanced math and IT ability with an advanced analytical mindset
• Understanding of the proper use and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Outstanding and proven communication and negotiation abilities
• High level of integrity with the ability to be trusted with sensitive and confidential company information
• Ability to be self directed, bring solutions and respond accordingly to constructive feedback
• Must be able to work non-standard hours during heavy periods of activity
• Ability to present to executives

Responsabilidades

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model
• Understand the project/program and its requirements
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
• Gather first-hand information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators
• Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Create and submit estimate reports and/or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, company leadership, etc.)
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, etc.)
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews
