Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of complex sales and/or business development experience in the higher education vertical markets.
• Proven ability to build internal and external partnership ecosystems for customer acquisition.
• Consultative sales experience across a multi-state territory.
• Minimum 5 years of ROI-based financial transactions related to energy conservation or sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and execute a regional sales growth plan in the higher education market.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations on behalf of the organization.
• Develop relationships with potential partners across organizational levels and coordinate internal resources.
• Represent CEG and identify energy sector trends at conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
• Drive surveys, ROI analyses, and financial justifications for energy projects in education facilities.
