Diodes Incorporated in South Portland, Maine, is seeking a Senior LNDMOS Device Engineer to drive design, development, and optimization of high voltage power semiconductor devices, targeting 7–120 V isolation schemes and junction or deep trench isolation.

You will use CAD/TCAD tools, collaborate with process, test, and packaging teams, and help translate device concepts into manufacturable products for automotive, industrial, and renewable energy applications.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of direct experience in power semiconductor device engineering with high voltage LNDMOS/LDMOS design.
• Experience with junction or deep trench isolation and related reliability considerations.
• Proficiency with device and process simulations (e.g., TCAD, Sentaurus, Silvaco).

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high voltage LNDMOS devices, modeling breakdown, Rds(on), charge balance, and ruggedness.
• Collaborate with process engineers to define flows, materials, doping, and yield.
• Characterize devices electrically and thermally, extract parameters, and validate models.
• Propose new architectures and materials to push performance (e.g., trench, RESURF).
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth development and launches.
• Produce design specs, simulation reports, and technical documentation.
