Job summary

iDEAL Semiconductor is seeking a Director of Device Design to lead development of next-generation silicon power diodes, MOSFETs, and IGBTs. You will oversee all stages from concept through production release, driving performance, efficiency, and ruggedness in power devices.

You will report to the CTO and guide a cross-functional team of engineers, shaping technology roadmaps and IP strategy for high-voltage power devices (>100V).

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering or Solid State Physics with extensive related experience (as applicable per degree)
• MS/PhD with substantial time in power device development and leadership
• Proven record leading multi-project programs in a product development environment

Responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and lead device design efforts across product development activities.
• Lead a cross-functional team of Design, Process Integration, and Application Engineers.
