Diodes, Inc. seeks a Sr Level Semiconductor Tech High Voltage Analog Device Engineer in South Portland, ME. You will lead high-voltage LNDMOS device design, utilize CAD/TCAD tools, and work across device, process, test, packaging, and product engineering to deliver robust, reliable power devices.

The role demands 5–10 years in HV LNDMOS/LDMOS, expertise in device isolation methods, and hands-on fabrication/characterization experience. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field with semiconductor devices focus.
• 5–10 years in power HV LNDMOS/LDMOS design and fabrication.
• Experience designing devices above 30V, up to 120V, with deep trench or junction isolation.
• Knowledge of isolation methods such as deep trench and guard rings.
• Experience with power devices (IGBT, SiC/GaN) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high voltage LNDMOS devices, using CAD/TCAD to optimize breakdown voltage, Rds(on), and reliability.
• Define and refine process flows for LNDMOS fabrication with process engineers.
• Plan electrical, thermal, and reliability characterization of devices and analyze data.
• Research new architectures and materials to push LNDMOS performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and launch of LNDMOS products.
• Produce design specs, simulation reports, and characterization results for stakeholders.
• Support applications engineers and customers for device integration.
