Job summary

Diodes Incorporated in South Portland, Maine, is seeking a Senior LNDMOS Device Engineer to drive design, development, and optimization of high‑voltage power devices (7–120 V) with junction or deep trench isolation. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field with semiconductor device focus.
• 5–10 years of direct power semiconductor device engineering experience, with LNDMOS/LDMOS design.
• Experience with high-voltage device isolation methods (deep trench, guard rings) and related reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute high-voltage LNDMOS device design (7–120 V) including breakdown, Rds(on), charge balance, ruggedness.
• Collaborate with process engineers to define flows for LNDMOS fabrication and material/doping decisions.
• Plan and conduct electrical, thermal, and reliability characterization of devices and validate models.
• Research new architectures and materials to push LNDMOS performance (e.g., trench, RESURF, shielded gate).
• Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure launch of LNDMOS products and provide technical support.
