Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager–High Rise to lead association operations in Irvine, CA. You will oversee staff and vendors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with governing documents and regulations.

You will liaison with the board and residents, driving service standards across all building systems. Responsibilities include strategic planning, financial reporting, and coordinating with legal counsel on litigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• CCAM, CMCA or PCAM designation preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of three years of successful high-profile community management experience or equivalent.
• Bi-lingual English / Farsi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire an understanding of governing documents and ensure requirements are followed.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise building staff and prepare budgets.
• Promote global service standards among associates and vendors.
• Inspect building and facilities and ensure timely maintenance.
• Ensure safety systems are operable and evacuation plans are known.
• Prepare annual budget drafts and reserve disclosures.
• Attend board/committee meetings and prepare minutes.
