Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a seasoned Field Manager to supervise Foremen on large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects. You will ensure safe, productive operations while upholding quality and profitability on site.

You will develop schedules (90-day and 3-week), coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors; manage costs and mentor crews, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks.
• 6+ years of field management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Foremen to ensure safe, productive, quality-driven work.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week crew schedules.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
