Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. in Columbus, OH, seeks a seasoned Construction Foreman/Superintendent to supervise skilled trades on large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects, ensuring safety, production, and profitability while coordinating with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers. This role leads foremen, develops 90-day schedules, manages costs, coordinates crews and subcontractors, and upholds Kokosing's safety culture and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent technical experience.
• 6+ years of field management experience on roadway/highway projects.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.
• Strong safety and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen to perform work safely, productively, and with quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews.
• Assist in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
