Job summary

WTS Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a major heavy civil construction project in Ontario, CA. You will bring 10+ years of leadership in large-scale projects, drive CPM scheduling, cost control, and contract administration, and mentor project teams in a field/operations setting.

Candidate will manage risks and change orders, collaborate with engineers and key stakeholders, and build strong client and supplier relationships while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in heavy civil construction project management.
• Strong background in large-scale heavy civil projects, project controls and contracts.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor project teams and maintain safety culture.
• Experience coordinating with clients, partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Field/operations environment experience and strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution, scheduling, forecasting and cost control.
• Monitor financial performance and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Manage risks, claims, change orders, contracts and procurement.
• Develop and maintain CPM schedules across the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve design issues.
• Foster accountability and lead safety-focused project teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners.
