Qualifications

Senior Project Manager - Site Development / Heavy Civil

We’re partnering with a growing, well-established construction organization to hire a Senior Project Manager to lead complex site development and heavy civil projects. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that sits at the center of business development, preconstruction, and operations.

This person will act as the primary point of contact for clients from contract award through project completion, ensuring successful delivery across scope, budget, and schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the full project lifecycle
• Lead project execution in partnership with field leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
• Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and financial performance
• Drive project buyout, subcontractor selection, and procurement strategy
• Facilitate preconstruction planning, design coordination, and value engineering efforts
• Represent the project team in owner, architect, and contractor meetings
• Monitor costs against budget and proactively address variances
• Manage scheduling impacts and lead mitigation planning
• Coordinate invoicing, receivables, and financial reporting with accounting teams
• Lead project closeout, including punch list and post-project analysis
• Mentor internal teams and collaborate cross-functionally to drive outcomes

What We’re Looking For:

• 5-10+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or heavy civil project management
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience with project scheduling methodologies (CPM preferred)
• Background in estimating, field operations, or both
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and client relationships
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgetsProficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project/accounting systems
• High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to safety
