Job summary

Harris & Co Executive Search has been retained to secure a Senior Project Manager for a leading heavy civil contractor delivering a major transportation project in Southern California.

The role requires ownership of project performance, including P&L, cost and schedule, and leadership of Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents and field teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• California highway, bridge, roadway or transit background.

• Lead a major project segment from preconstruction through completion.
• Own P&L, cost, schedule and overall project performance.
• Lead Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents and field teams.
• Manage subcontractors, change orders, risk and client relationships.

Experience:

• California highway, bridge, roadway or transit background.
• Caltrans and/or LA Metro experience preferred.
• CM/GC or Design-Build experience highly desirable.
