Talent Edge Recruiting's client, a well-established heavy civil construction contractor, seeks a Project Manager to lead multiple projects in the $2–$10 million range across the Northeast. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and closeout activities with field teams, subcontractors, and owners.

  • 5–7 years if not directly related industry experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects $2M+ from start to finish.
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints, specs, and contracts.
  • Proficiency with CPM scheduling and CM software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of multiple projects.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, risk management, and closeout activities.
  • Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders to maintain project performance.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, budgets, schedules, and operational objectives.
  • Visit active job sites on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to monitor progress and address challenges.
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with contractual requirements.
  • Manage project documentation and communication using construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for operational improvements and project profitability.
  • Travel throughout the Northeast region as needed, with day trips and limited overnight stays.
