Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in accounting, finance, health administration, or related field.
• Four years of hospital reimbursement, healthcare finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and payment methodologies.
• Experience collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Medicare/Medicaid cost-report schedules, workpapers, and government submissions.
• Collect, validate, reconcile, and analyze data from multiple systems; resolve inconsistencies.
• Develop reimbursement estimates, forecasts, and financial-impact models for leadership.
• Support audits, reopenings, appeals, and settlements with analyses and data requests.
• Research Medicare/Medicaid regulations and assess financial/operational implications.
• Manage reimbursement program components including data collection, submission, and compliance.
