Job summary

The role requires minimal supervision and collaboration with Finance, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Government Relations, and Executive Leadership.

Based at Peaks Regional Office with fully remote options, the position offers a 40‑hour week, a competitive hourly rate ($34.26–$53.96) and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with 4 years of experience.
• Master’s degree in accounting or finance with 2 years of experience; degree verified.
• Proficient computer skills: spreadsheets, databases, word processing and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine tasks with in-depth analysis and recommends solutions.
• Performs or reviews reimbursement processes and monitors claims with hospital staff.
• Prepares Medicare/Medicaid settlement and policy reserve calculations.
• Prepares or reviews cost reports, audits and settlements and handles appeals.
• Mentors teammates and coordinates reimbursement functions.
• Stays current on laws affecting reimbursement and analyzes impact on operations.
• Manages scope, deadlines, and deliverables; documents procedures and standards.
• Investigates reimbursement changes and communicates impacts to leadership.
• Oversees 2+ hospitals or 1+ hospital plus Central Office assignments.
