Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a Senior Reimbursement Analyst responsible for preparing and filing system cost reports, including federal and state requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration, with at least two years of relevant experience.

This role demands strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of reimbursement practices, and the ability to communicate effectively, as the Analyst will work directly with various stakeholders to monitor regulations and assist in financial analyses.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Two years in an analyst role is preferred.
• Prior experience completing cost reports for government programs is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file system cost reports for the Health System.
• Monitor and interpret Federal and State reimbursement regulations.
• Compute reimbursement rates for all payers including Medicare.
• Assist with financial analysis related to reimbursement calculations.
