Job summary

Liberty Health in Wilmington, NC is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations. You will manage payroll processing across multiple systems (INFOR/Lawson, Axxess, Genesis, NetHealth) and ensure timely tax filings, year-end reporting, and W-2 processing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5–10 years of supervisory payroll experience, with strong Excel and MS Office skills, and deep knowledge of payroll regulations across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience in payroll, or 10 years progressive payroll experience in supervisory role.
• Experience with multi-state tax jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure regulatory year-end reporting.
• Lead Payroll department staff and training of end users.
• Maintain data integrity in Lawson/Infor, Axxess, Genesis, NetHealth.
