Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a team of Payroll Administrators in Durham, NC. You will oversee multi-state payroll processing for over 1000 staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of related payroll experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Payroll Administrators across multiple states.
• Ensure accurate and compliant multi-state payroll processing for 1000+ staff.
• Oversee year-end activities including W-2s and tax reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce payroll policies and internal controls.
