Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee design and construction of healthcare facilities. You will lead cross-functional teams including consultants, vendors, and contractors to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements include 7+ years in healthcare design/construction and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Florida licensure is preferred and AHCA/DNV/JCAHO knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible design and construction project management experience with five years focused on healthcare
• Experience with AHCA regulations, JCAHO/DNV standards, and other applicable codes of the construction industry
• Bachelor’s in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• Licensed Architect in Florida preferred; Certifications welcome

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor activities for compliance with project budget and specifications
• Prepare and present technical/educational documentation for customers and team members
• Lead design and construction process, managing consultants, vendors and contractors
• Coordinate project budgets and change control processes
• Conduct project evaluation meetings and administrative reviews
• Ensure fair bidding practices and timely project delivery
