Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Senior Superintendent to manage daily job-site operations, coordinating scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervises all direct labor positions on the assigned project and oversees contracted work to ensure timely completion.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on management of subcontractors, safety, quality, and cost control to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction field.
• 5–10 years healthcare construction project experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Understands building codes and reads blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication; basic Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction and staffing.
• Coordinates project schedule with Project Manager and uses look-ahead schedules.
• Directs procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Coordinates pre-construction meetings and client updates on progress.
• Ensures safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping are maintained.
• Manages labor costs by optimizing crew mixes and assignments.
