• B.S. in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project manager software.
• Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
• Ability to build and manage multiple high performing teams.

Aufgaben

• Oversees a major construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Organizes and manages a large project staff where the duties of project managers and superintendents must be divided between multiple employee-owners.
• When a project is to be handled through a preconstruction agreement, the PM works directly with owners and architects during plan development, providing technical and cost input (value engineering) as well as preliminary budget estimates.
• Assumes startup activities on the project; works with the superintendent on site logistics and safety.
• Performs bid reviews, ensures bonds and insurance, and resolves contract interpretation issues.
• Ensures contract terms and specs are met; inspects progress and maintains high quality standards.
• Prepares monthly pay requests and expedites payment where delays occur.
• Develops master construction schedules with CPM; updates as needed.
• Distributes changes for pricing and negotiates scope changes with owner approvals.
