Job summary

Austin Commercial, North Texas Division, seeks a Healthcare Project Manager to lead complex healthcare projects from planning through closeout. You will partner with owners, architects and the PM team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with rigorous safety and quality standards.

You'll manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance while maintaining open communication with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years’ work experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year of employment).
• Experience with project management software.
• Experience with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
• Ability to build and manage direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Assists the project manager II with planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Assists PM I in plan development, value engineering, and preliminary budget estimates during preconstruction.
• Oversees startup activities and coordinates site logistics with the superintendent.
• Reviews subcontractor bids, ensures bonds/insurance, and resolves contract issues.
• Ensures contract terms/specifications are met; inspects work and maintains quality.
• Prepares monthly pay requests and tracks costs with the estimator and accounting.
