Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Healthcare Project Manager for the North Texas Division to lead complex healthcare construction initiatives from planning through closeout. You will work with PM II and managers to plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases, ensuring cost control and adherence to plans and safety standards.

This position offers ESOP ownership and a strong safety-first environment. Ideal candidates have a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years’ work experience in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year).
• Experience with project manager software.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM II with planning, scheduling and coordination of all project phases.
• Support preconstruction work with owners and architects, including cost input and preliminary budgets.
• Oversee startup activities, site safety, and material logistics with the superintendent.
• Review subcontractor bids for buyout and ensure bonds/insurance prior to work.
• Ensure contract terms and specs are met; inspect progress and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare monthly pay requests and assist with change orders and cost reporting.
• Develop a master construction schedule with Scheduling to track milestones and changes.
• Ensure compliance with laws and building codes; coordinate with Risk Management when needed.
• Handle closeout documentation, final reporting, and punch list resolution.
• Promote safety standards and review safety procedures with the project team.
