Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is hiring a Senior Analytics Consultant to support the Health Economics Team. You will use SQL, Python, and R with BI tools to analyze medical claims and advise major Commercial clients, including presenting to C‑Suite leadership.

The role is hybrid and located in either Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX, requiring strong healthcare analytics experience and proven ability to lead client engagements and internal projects under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with several years of healthcare analytics experience (6+ years for bachelors, 4+ for masters, 2+ for PhD, or 10+ years alternative).
• Expert querying of healthcare data: medical/pharmacy claims, demographics, provider databases, public datasets.
• Strong analytics with SQL, Python, R.
• Ability to build dynamic dashboards in Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic engagements for HCSC's largest Commercial Clients.
• Present insights to C‑Suite stakeholders and drive decision-making.
• Develop standard data layers and coding standards for repeatable use cases.
• Collaborate with management to scale client engagements and internal projects.
