Health Care Service Corporation is seeking an Advanced Analytics Consultant to leverage SQL, R, Python, Tableau/Power BI, MS Azure, and Databricks to support client engagements in population health and insurance. The role requires communicating with C-Suite stakeholders and driving analytics from problem to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field with 3 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR 9 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
• Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights
• Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python
• Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution
• Experience leading an analytic initiative to success
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life

Responsabilités

• Provide analytic support and consultancy for HCSC's largest Commercial Clients.
• Advise internal senior-leader stakeholders related to population health and insurance.
• Communicate with and present to C-Suite stakeholders with the ultimate goal of elevating their understanding of plan cost and health drivers.
• Scale and help internally market impactful client engagements for broader impact.
