Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a senior Benefits leader to oversee health and welfare benefits, wellbeing, and tuition assistance programs. You will translate strategy into operational plans, lead the benefits team, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure compliant, accurate program delivery.

This role requires at least 5 years in benefits/HR, strong data skills, and the ability to drive process improvements, automation, and self-service initiatives across HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in health and welfare benefits, wellbeing programs, or related fields.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional partners.
• Experience managing complex benefits processes and annual enrollments.
• Experience with carrier/vendor/consultant relationships and performance.
• Strong data-based decision making and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration and delivery of health and welfare benefits, wellbeing, and tuition assistance programs.
• Translate strategy into operational plans, system requirements, and communications.
• Lead annual benefits processes including Open Enrollment and new hire enrollment.
• Coach and develop the benefits team; monitor performance and accountability.
• Manage carrier, consultant, and third-party relationships and service delivery.
• Establish metrics and reporting to improve performance and reduce errors.
• Serve as escalation point for complex benefits issues and service matters.
• Partner with HR, IT, and Finance to define requirements and ensure integrations work.
• Coordinate benefits communications, education, and employee engagement activities.
