Job summary

Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a senior Benefits Leader to drive strategy, design, and governance across health, welfare, and retirement programs. You will guide the Benefits team, shape program design, and partner with external vendors to optimize costs and service delivery.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop metrics for outcomes, and align benefits initiatives with the hospital’s strategic priorities while managing budgets and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of HR experience including at least 5 years in benefits, retirement, health & welfare, or Total Rewards.
• 5+ years of management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic direction to the Benefits team.
• Develop and implement benefits strategies, programs, processes, and policies that support market competitiveness, equity, and cost effectiveness.
• Establish departmental goals, priorities, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate program and departmental performance and implement improvements to enhance service and simplify workflows.
• Develop meaningful metrics to measure program effectiveness and outcomes.
