Job summary

ENGIE North America seeks a Health and Safety Senior Advisor to develop and implement a comprehensive H&S Management System for Renewable & Flex Power North America. You will influence safety culture across project development, construction, and operations, partnering with staff to drive proactive practices.

This field role requires up to 80% domestic travel, strong OSHA CFR knowledge, and a proven track record in investigations and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Safety Management required; CHST preferred, CSP a plus.
• 7+ years in construction/operations; or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Subject matter expert in OSHA U.S. CFR 29 Parts 1910/1926.
• Strong root cause failure analysis skills and safety investigations.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of a H&S strategic plan with leadership.
• Conduct safety training, audits, incident investigations, and RCA.
• Facilitate serious incident investigations and prevent recurrence.
• Provide guidance to field personnel and site staff on H&S processes.
• Promote a safety culture through leadership engagement and coaching.
• Ensure ISN requirements and JSP review across projects.
