Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Senior Advisor to advance a comprehensive H&S Management System across Renewables, BESS construction, and operation.

You will partner with leadership to influence a proactive safety culture and support project development, construction, and operations activities. You will lead investigations, audits, and training, applying RCA tools and maintaining safety data systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Safety Management and CHST certification; CSP preferred.
• 7+ years in construction/operational phases; 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• Subject matter expert in OSHA CFR 29 Parts 1910/1926.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Excellent communications and presentation skills.
• Experience with behavioral science and safety culture change.
• Experience in commercial/industrial construction environments.
• Proficiency with safety data management tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve an H&S strategic plan with leadership and staff.
• Manage HS database and monthly reports; track action plans and metrics.
• Conduct onsite safety training, audits, incident investigations and RCA.
• Facilitate serious investigations (HiPo's, SIFs) and determine corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to HS professionals, site managers, and supervisors.
• Support design of H&S Management System; monitor OSHA regulatory changes.
• Promote leadership engagement and a proactive safety culture.
