Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, business or equivalent with leadership and prioritization skills.
  • Certified Safety Professional eligibility and OSHA safety certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years in safety management with 3+ years in power/energy sectors.
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA CFR 29 Parts 1910/1926.
  • Experience with RCFA tools and applying them to incidents.
  • Experience shaping safety culture through behavioral science.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor H&S programs for the O&M team.
  • Lead incident investigations and safety cultural assessments.
  • Provide monthly safety reports to ES NorAm leadership and BU executives.
  • Lead serious incident investigations including HiPo events when directed.
