Job summary

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior Project Manager to support a large Federal Health IT program modernizing the EHR for the Indian Health Service. The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust.

You will lead cross-functional teams and develop detailed project plans using Microsoft Project. You will translate program requirements into actionable schedules, manage risks, and drive governance across multiple vendors to ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, healthcare, project management, or related field.
• 6–10 years of project management experience in Health IT or large IT programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-vendor projects.
• Hands-on PMO governance and schedule management in MS Project.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects and workstreams within a Health IT/EHR modernization environment.
• Develop and manage comprehensive, interdependent project plans from concept through completion.
• Translate broad program requirements, objectives, and stakeholder inputs into actionable project plans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Drive execution in environments where scope, requirements, and work ownership may be ambiguous or evolving.
• Establish clarity around objectives, responsibilities, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify schedule, resource, dependency, and execution risks.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders and leadership around project objectives and decisions.
• Build strong relationships with government clients, program leadership, vendors, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement repeatable and scalable PMO governance processes.
