Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Indian Health Service EHR Modernization program. This fully remote role focuses on lifecycle systems engineering to improve data access, patient experience, and care quality for 567 tribes and 600 facilities.

The candidate should have 5+ years in medium-to-large IT projects, Oracle HEALTH experience, and strong Office skills; must obtain Public Trust Level 5 clearance and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting medium-to-large IT projects.
• Experience with Oracle HEALTH.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience solving complex device engineering workstream problems.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
• Travel up to 25% per year.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to completion of device engineering workstream programs and projects.
• Develops solutions to complex device engineering workstream problems.
• Performs complex systems design, development, and integration across the system life cycle.
• Oversees installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of biomedical and end-user devices.
• Prepares and maintains documentation for device engineering processes.
• Maintains knowledge of biomedical and end-user devices and Oracle Health EHR systems.
• Collaborates with cyber and implementation workstreams.
• May coach less-experienced professionals.
• May serve as team or task lead.
