Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale Federal Health IT program modernizing the EHR for the Indian Health Service. The role is remote and requires ability to obtain a Public Trust, with responsibilities spanning planning, execution, risk management, and PMO governance.

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of project management experience in Health IT, strong MS Project skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional, multi-vendor teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, healthcare, project management, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of project management experience, preferably in Health IT/EHR programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi‑vendor, client-facing projects.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex, interdependent schedules in Microsoft Project.
• Experience translating requirements into actionable project plans.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects within Health IT/EHR modernization efforts.
• Develop and manage interdependent project plans from concept to completion.
• Translate program requirements into milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Monitor performance and identify schedule, resource, and execution risks.
• Align stakeholders and drive decisions in a matrixed environment.
• Improve PMO governance and repeatable project management practices.
