Job summary

You will collaborate with PCPs and onsite specialists, maintain patient confidentiality, ensure timely referrals, and support an excellent patient experience through organized workflows and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and prior office/clerical or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor in person, on calls, and in writing.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; comfortable learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and authorizations according to health plans and systems (e.g., Availity).
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with PCPs and onsite specialists.
• Maintain patient information with confidentiality and ensure documentation is complete before visits.
• Communicate appointment details, test preparations, and transportation needs to patients as required.
• Support center operations and collaborate with team to deliver high-quality service.
