Republic Services is seeking a Lead Customer Support Specialist in Livonia, MI. The role blends customer service excellence with waste industry knowledge to resolve inquiries, process orders, and support billing and logistics.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Support teams to provide timely, precise solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

• 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in a customer-facing role addressing customer needs, preferably in waste disposal, chemistry, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers outstanding service to internal and external clients via phone, email, or in person, ensuring timely and precise assistance.
• Indirectly supervises junior staff and provides advanced support to resolve complex issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Establishes effective communication pathways to handle customer inquiries and collaborates with teams for swift resolutions.
• Manages office services including data entry, clerical work, records control, form creation, and report preparation.
• Prepares shipping documents with accurate DOT hazardous material descriptions and manages invoicing and collections.
• Investigates and resolves billing discrepancies, provides quotes, schedules trucking, and coordinates waste transportation logistics.
